BIOGRAPHY

| Tom Eckert (1942) is Professor of Sculpture at Arizona State University. He has shown in over 100 competitive and invitational exhibitions since 1966. He received his BFA and MFA from ASU, in 1966 and 1971 respectively. His work has been featured in solo exhibitions at the Tempe Art Center, the Scottsdale Center for the Arts, the Michael Himovitz Gallery in Sacramento, and the Joanne Rapp Gallery. In 1991, he received a Visual Arts Fellowship for three-dimensional media from the Arizona Commission on the Arts. Eckert has received an unprecedented two WESTAF/NEA grants in 1989 and 1993.
