Dear oh dear, am I the only one who understands what's going on? That the disaffection with the existing situation which made a domestic political revolution possible will not go away just because the planned intervention by the self-proclaimed knights in shining armour has gone pear-shaped due to their failure to live up to the luxury of envisaged power? Or, to put it differently, has the unfriendliness towards the established order of things evaporated now that the forerunners have slunk off? I don't want to talk about my ceaselessly bad conscience not to participate in the political goings-on, which was pushed to one side by one of the many forms of the right to experiencing the urge to survive, nor do I want to discuss anything I myself don't know yet. But let's not kid ourselves here - would you give it your all if you weren't sure that your efforts were being appreciated? For no matter how good or bad a person you are, thanks to the media it's an uncertain outcome, as they want your product to be a proper fit for their presentation style. I have always been taught that I should be patient with stutterers. The other day I read that stuttering is caused by a particular gene, so if I were trying to convince you not to let politicians finish whatever it is they are trying to say to you, wouldn't you think that they too were suffering from a deviant gene, given my penchant for manipulating seemingly watertight arguments, without respect of parties and making due allowance for separate status opinion-wise, such as applies to former footballer turned columnist Jan Mulder? And even if this were so, could one openly discuss this without running the risk of being arrested for discrimination or for common or garden variety slander as its opposite number, or possibly for insider dealing? I'm sorry to bother you with all this, but are you reading the signs, as in "That's all very well, but there's no way that life can be quite as simple as that"? |
